I hold Bachelor and Master's Degrees in Political Science and Public Administration field. I am interested in gender and queer studies as well as politics, political sociology, and civic engagement. I completed my master's thesis in February 2022 that is titled "Gezi Park Protests from a Badiouan Perspective and Its Effects on Political Subjectivization of LGBTIQ+ People". During my undergraduate degree I engaged with several LGBTIQ+ and feminist/women's rights organizations, as well as attempted to found a LGBTIQ+ Solidarity Group at Ankara University. Currently, I am working at UNDP Turkey's project targeting to improve gender-based violence survivor's and vulnerable group's access to legal protection mechanisms in Turkey.
