Hedvika Janeckova is a Research Manager in gender, equality and social affairs at PPMI, a leading European research and policy analysis centre. She has over five years of experience in data collection, analysis and reporting in research projects (including desk-based research, statistical analyses, in-depth and semi-structured interviews, case studies, focus groups, and drafting of various deliverables). Currently, she contributes to the implementation of research activities under three large projects: “Gender equality prospects in labour markets transformed by artificial intelligence and platform work (EIGE)”, “Educational toolkits for fighting gender stereotypes, based on the example of the transport sector” (DG MOVE) and “Gender Equality Index in the EU Member States: policy context and statistical analysis” (EIGE). She holds an MA with distinction in Critical Gender Studies from the Central European University in Budapest and a BA with distinction in Political Science and European Studies from the Palacky University in Olomouc. She is fluent in Czech (mother tongue) and English, reads and understands Slovak, and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
