A professional journalist since 2005, I work as a Communication Officer at Formez PA, managing the communication of projects funded by the Department for Public Administration and by European structural and investment funds (ESI Funds). In this capacity, I am currently engaged as an elearning and communication expert in the framework of the Anti-harassment Project funded by the Italian Ministry for Public Administration in the framework of “National strategic plan on men’s violence against women”. As a member of the Project's team I am in charge of the design and implementation of an online training format focused on anti-harassment policies in the Public sector and of the design and implementation of an awareness raising campaign on social media.
From 2011 to 2019, I have also been a member of the Regional Communications Committee of the Sardinia Region (CORECOM Sardinia), for two terms. In such capacity, I have dealt with gender equality in the media, starting, in 2017, a program of actions aimed at stimulating critical reflection on sexist representations and discrimination, including the Prize "GIANNI MASSA", dedicated to gender equality in the media and institutions, in collaboration with Gi.U.Li.A. journalists Sardinia, with the Order of Journalists of Sardinia, with the Sardinian Press Association, with the Universities of Cagliari and Sassari and with the Foundation of Sardinia,; and a theater performance entitled "Do you know Giulia?" which formed an integral part of the "School" section of the award and involved 160 pupils from 4 Higher Secondary Institutes of Cagliari.
Finally, as an expert in training processes and in strengthening public administrative capacity, I contribute to two important European projects promoting gender equality, funded by the EU Horizon 2020 program: the Supera Project (https: //www.unica .it / unica / it / ateneo_s04_ss09_sss07.page), which sees the participation of the University of Cagliari and the Sardinia Region, for the drafting of plans that will contribute to overcoming gender inequalities in the academic world; and the GE Academy project for capacity-building on gender equality in research, innovation and higher education (https://ge-academy.eu/the-project/).
