PhD, Anthropologist, Independent Researcher and Consultant, Gender, Girl Child Rights, Children's Rights
Hello! I am an international researcher anthropologist and consultant, also former UNICEF IRC staff member and consultant. I am a PhD in Social Sciences, research line Gender Equality (Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Spain, Seville) and a Master in International Cooperation and Human Local Development (University of Florence, Italy). I develop a qualitative research focused on gender and Girl Child Rights. In particular, I developed the concept of anthropology of implementation of international legal standards for girls' and women's rights. I carried out ethnographic field research in LAC Region on women and girl condition and violation of their fundamental rights, gender stereotypes and asymetries and the role of institutions for their rights' implementation and gender equality achievement. I collaborated in European-LAC research projects on gender and diversity. I have realized several international publication in reviews and books. I am a member of Social Sciences international research networks (REDidi, GenderCit, ICA, LASA, CEISAL, among others) and of the Italian Society of Applied Anthropology. I am affiliated to the University of Florence, Italy, and the Universidad Pablo de Olavide (UPO) Seville, Spain. I am interested in enlarging my knowledge and contacts on common topics, participating in meetings and initiatives, and I am available for job consultancies and collaborations. I can work in English, Spanish, French and Italian (mother tongue). I am based in Paris and in Florence.
