Abayomi Ogundipe

I'm a social entrepreneur. I co-founded GirlsGoIT in Moldova, an award-winning and community programme empowering girls in IT (Information Technology) and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics). GirlsGoIT is the largest community program inspiring girls in IT. We have an active local club in 17 regions in Moldova and have trained more than 2000 girls in software development and 3D printing. I was also part of the Global Shapers Community in Chisinau, a program of the World Economic Forum. During my time as the founding curator of Global Shapers in Chisinau, i organised an event on the future of education, gender and work. We presented insights and perspective on how education and gender as evolved over 20 years in Moldova using data from the National Bureau of Statistics. I also attended the annual curators meeting in Geneva and i worked in group that are shaping Education, Gender and Work.
