We are very happy to announce the publication of the BCA-WA-ETHICS 1st Policy Brief: A Framework for the Ethical Evaluation of Research Protocols from a Sex and Gender perspective during the COVID-19 pandemic and other epidemics: https://1529b568-0adb-41d2-b703-789c79f44f28.filesusr.com/ugd/a4c356_cf8....

This policy brief is expected to help West African ethics committees take into account gender disparities and inequalities while appraising COVID-19 research projects, to ensure that women, men, and sexual and gender minorities' specific needs are not neglected during health emergencies. French and Portuguese versions of the policy brief are also available for download here: https://www.bcawaethics.com/media-publications.

This Policy Brief is a component of BCA-WA-ETHICS, a project of the EDCTP2 programme, supported by the European Union (grant number CSA2018ERC-2314).
