The European Women’s Lobby (EWL) is launching a call for Logistical Consultants. If you have events/logistical experience and a passion for combatting violence against women, please read on!
As part of the EWL’s participation in the “Regional Forum for the Promotion and Monitoring Progress of the implementation of the Istanbul Convention in six Western Balkan countries and Turkey” project. This regional forum is part of the UN Women three-year programme “Ending Violence against women: Implementing norms, changing minds”. The EWL’s participation in this programme will run from January 2018- February 2019.
To EWL will design key aspects of the Regional Forum, which will aim to make recommendations on law reforms and policy reform related to eliminating violence against women, and provision of support services in the region. To achieve this, the EWL has engaged seven Research Consultants who will conduct preparatory analytical work and will be fostering spaces for participation and interaction amongst women’s civil society organizations in the region. Women’s Organisations will be consulted to assist in the development of the agenda for the Regional Forum and to assess preparatory analytical work.
The EWL is calling for applications for a consultant to act as Logistical Consultant, who will organise and facilitate a 1.5-day participatory meeting of representatives from women’s organisations/networks in the region in July 2018.
