Dear Colleagues,

I would like to inform you that the recent report of the European Parliament on behalf of the FEMM Committee entitled "Empowering Women on the Internet" acknowledges the important work of the General Secretariat for Gender Equality on digital agenda in the framework of the Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the European Union (January-June 2014).

On pages 16 and 17 of the printed edition there is concrete reference on the European Conference "Women and Girls Go Digital" (Athens, 4th of April, 2014), its scope, as well as on the key messages of the speech by the EIGE Director at the specific event: http://www.isotita.gr/en/index.php/news/525 .
