On 15-16 November 2018, the UK Government - in collaboration with the Council of Europe - will organise the international conference 'Policy For Progress: Ending FGM and Forced Marriage'.
EIGE's contribution to the conference will focus on measuring the true prevelance and impact of FGM as well as well a on gender-sensitive approach towards violence against women. Full description of the workshops can be found under RESOURCES tab.
EIGE plays a leading role in providing information and research on prevalence of female genital mutilation in the European Union and supports the Member States to prevent and combat this harmful practice. More about EIGE's work on FGM can be found here.
