Collection of Methods, Tools and Good Practices in the Field of Women and the Media EIGE/2012/OPER/01. European Institute of Gender Equality (EIGE) and Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini. 2012-2013.

Responsibilities: provide a list of media, NGO, and public institution representatives with significance for the field of women and the media in the two countries; secure participation in a survey and follow-up interviews of such representatives; based on the survey and interviews, assemble best practices and report research results; provide a literature review regarding women and the media

 

Regional Coordinator for Eastern Europe

Responsibilities: to select two researchers per country in eight countries of the region (Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine, Russia); to ensure the contracting and payment of these country-based researchers; to supply training for the researchers; to ensure the timely administration of the survey questionnaires and the accurate collection of the research data; to secure a smooth connection between the country-based researchers and IWMF; to provide regional oversight for the research project; to contribute to reporting of data

Responsibilities: managing the research phase of the project: planning over 30 public meetings and focus groups, moderating and transcribing some of these, taking leadership in the production of a report (fall 2007, spring 2008); managing the in person component of the project: organizing the first two annual community-university forums of the region including call for proposals, review, decision of sessions, publicity, event supervision, evaluation (April 2008, April 2009); managing the in print component of the project: editing the first two issues of the new community-university journal of the region (spring 2009, spring 2010); contributing to the on line component of the project: providing materials for website (2009, 2010); grant writing
